If you put Gaster's name into the title screen of Undertale or Deltarune, the game will either crash or send you back to the title screen as soon as you hit the r. I'm gonna stop now, because this is all what is in Undertale. There's actually way more if you want to get into Deltarune stuff.
First, Gaster followers are grey versions of real monsters that explain Gaster a bit. There is a room where you play some music, one of them is Gaster's theme Entry #17 is missing in the true lab, but look at the code! It's written in Wing Dings, a sort of emojis before emojis, turned into a font.
TDLR: Gaster is a strange entity in Undertale, who can mostly only be found by luck/hacking the game. He was the royal scientist before Alphys, made the core, and "fell into his creation." There's evidence of Gaster existing and being related to Deltarune as early as 2015. He talks about the prophesy of Deltarune 3 years before it came out.
TL;DR: Gaster serves as a parody on cut content, and how horrifying it is to live on as a cut character, and be aware of everything at once. W.D. Gaster, like almost ALL things in Undertale, is a deconstruction.
Gaster's typer value is 666 (in entry number 17, and also in the deltarune chapter 1 intro). This is definitely intentional as the highest typer value below that is 111. 667 is used for the chapter 1 game over sequence. The fun value required to find the mysteryman is 66. The fun value required to meet the gaster followers are also in the 60s.
Welcome. This is an ongoing discussion of the endgame of Undertale. Spoilers are abound. Undertale is a game of mystery and intrigue, and ultimately leaves us with a burning question that we believe Deltarune is going to show the answer to: Who is this W. D. Gaster we are searching for? It seems to be a mystery, but is it possible that we can solve this riddle? After all, Undertale is known ...
I think Gaster fell into a Dark World, perhaps one he made in the CORE (which would explain why the two are conflated and why the Gaster Follower’s explanation is kind of unclear with pronouns). You need Determination to make a Dark Fountain, but supposedly any Lightner can do it. That would include Gaster as long as he was a monster.
Tgis was very well made, but you forgot about the 666 (or just 6) motif of Gaster. The fact that Gaster speaks in all caps like Papyrus, the Twitter messages, the Gaster Blaster, and the possible connection of Gaster with the DT.
The game files have all of every monsters attacks, and in there, this sans attack is called a gaster blaster, but there is no evidence in the game saying that it is its name. people also mis-concept it to be called a gaster blaster because of a similar look of the entity also called Gaster.
So, I actually “solved” Gaster around five months ago on r/underminers, but out of respect for Tobyfox’s work I did not want to want to publish my findings to the broader community while the game was still in its heyday. However, I have been monitoring r/undertale for the past few months and have noticed that you have all become as cynical about Gaster conspiracy theories as we at r ...
